Here at Sharmamridul’s Blog we are blogging and posting one of the most viral news on the planet. But what happened in the middle of 2010? Well the world became quiet and the world forgot sarcasm. That’s right sarcasm. It got killed! Yes! For the first time after 9 years from the year 2000 until 2010 it got killed.

Did you know who killed it? Come on, Guess! No Clue! Fine I’ll till you. It was iCarly.

Yes it was! As the cast grew older they didn’t realize that they didn’t it!

How they did it!

On the show they made fun of the news on tv by saying who watches the news.

They also said why do they keep making these things (Newspapers). Some people still read them. Yeah, Hobos and the elderly (That’s not true because a lot of people are still reading the newspapers and I’m 13 and I read the New York Post sometimes. I get the paper from school everyday from Mon-Thurs and sometimes I won’t).

So anyway if you are wondering how we are restoring sarcasm back well as you can see on the right side of the site we have a widget called ANNOYING THINGS! If you got to one of the links and hover it you can see the sarcastic texts I put in to make it funny!

2009

2009 was just basically a year which was taken over by the modern technology like I pods, new touch-screen cell phones,texting, computers and other techno stuff. That was how sarcasm died. TV shows like Family Guy was in the modern period but it was taking less effect after all it just makes fun of celebrities. In some episodes it showed teenage girls going with their girl-friends to local clubs on their phones texting and they are dumb and that really happened.

The Simpsons is the other show. In one episode titled Father Knows Worst really focuses on this year. After all it was about the Bart, and Lisa failing in their social and academic lives. Well for Lisa she had friends who were texting and it really based on what i said about texting that’s what she was doing in the episode.

Social Sites like Facebook,Twitter really changed they way we used our phones and internet. But Twitter gained more popularization because now it is changing the world’s technology after many people started tweeting what they are doing.

This is how sarcasm was dying in 2009!

End to the Mission

On November 23,2012 the final episode premiered and as of 12:00 AM November 24,2012 the mission was declared over and this was successful one as for 2 years from 2010-2012 our side claimed victory and put an immediate end to this goal which was complete with success.
