Wikipedia can save us

Do any of you guys know what a Phonograph is? Well to save you time I put the link for you on the word. For most people these things used to be around in the 50s,60 and somewhat through out the 80s and 90s. If you opened the link on a different webpage then you know I got it from Wikipedia. That’s where my point begins.

Wikipedia is the #1 resource for school reports, essays, research, and bragging rights. That’s right bragging rights.

Well why lets say you and your friend are having an argument on who was the main star in footloose. You say:Kevin Bacon and your friend says no he wasn’t in it. Then you both go online look up footloose and on Google you click the link leading to Wikipedia and boom your friend owes you 5 bucks and feels stupid. Here is the clear example

So in clear words Wikipedia can save us and it has been since 2001 which was 10 years ago. It can help people become smarter and obtain quick knowledge which they can later use in their lives. Feel free to comment on your opinion about this topic.

  1. There are tons of good tv shows to choose from to say it’s the best. No matter what is said though, there is no doubt that this show ranks #1 of all of them. Yes, there are shows that are a bit newer but this one still has charm. There is comedy, sex, and a little darkness, easily moving it up to the top. They just don’t make them like this anymore.
