American Culture:Carpool

Let’s say you need a ride with a couple of friends because you don’t have a car so then you ask your friends and your ride is set up. With a group you must call Shotgunmeaning you call the seat right next to the driver of the ride. Carpooling is most common among teens in high school and adults in business who are partners.

If it is a long drive like a mile away makes sure you and your members have fun on the ride with snacks and listen to the radio. If there is 3 people in the back 2 people will call Shotgun for the window seat and the person in the middle is stuck with it and can’t get out of it. Here is a picture of a business Carpool.
